A realm you have to be let into

The oath

Kingdom Sworn is whitelisted on purpose. Everyone here applied, was read by a person, and promised to play a living character in a living town.

That means a small realm where your choices stick: one life per character, real fear when a sword is drawn, and a name that has to be earned at the anvil, the vat and the loom. Nobody is here to grief, and the staff are here to make sure of it.

  1. Apply

A letter about you, your character and how you play. It takes about ten minutes.

  2. Staff review

A real person reads it, usually within two days, and may ask a question.

  3. Swear the oath

Approved? Your KCD:MP name goes on the whitelist and you accept the realm's rules.

  4. Arrive in Kuttenberg

Your first join is a cinematic arrival, then your character, then your first craft.

I will play my part, fear for my life and answer for my name.

Why Kuttenberg

Built around the work of your hands

A blacksmith in a forge holding up a plan and a chisel

Hands-on crafting

Every craft is a short skill game. How well you play decides the quality of what you make.

A knight holding a torch leads hooded monks across a moonlit cloister

Guild ranks

Apprentice, Journeyman, Master. Rise through ten levels and sit a masterpiece exam.

A wagon train and marchers crossing a sunlit meadow beside a river

Chains of trade

Raw goods, refined goods, finished goods. Crafters need each other, and caravans need guards.

A barber shaving a young man in a sunlit room

Your maker's mark

Fine work carries your name: "Gambeson, sewn by Jan of Kuttenberg".
